The letter requested that space be made available to journalist Saurabh Das for a press conference; However, there is no mention of Cockroach Janata Party anywhere in the letter.

Till now, there has been no public response from Manoj Jha on this letter. Saurabh Das was recently appointed the chief spokesperson of the Cockroach Janata Party. The party has announced plans to protest against Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar on June 6. It is being claimed that this protest has received the support of many prominent personalities including Sonam Wangchuk. Meanwhile, preparations are reportedly underway to welcome party chief Abhijeet Deepak at the airport upon his arrival in Delhi from America. The establishment of Cockroach Janata Party first became popular on social media when Supreme Court Justice Surya Kant made a comment, after which the activities related to the party quickly attracted people’s attention on online platforms.
**What was in the letter?**
Rajya Sabha MP and RJD leader Prof. Manoj Kumar Jha had written a letter to the director of the Constitution Club of India recommending that journalist Saurabh Das be given space to hold a press conference. In the letter, he had requested that Saurabh Das be allotted space to hold a press conference at the Constitution Club on June 3 at 5:00 pm. Calling it a formal recommendation in his letter, Prof. Jha requested the club administration to make necessary arrangements.
Moreover, in a statement given to news agency PTI, Manoj Jha responded to a question related to the protest proposed by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) on June 6. He said that his stand on this issue is completely clear and he has written on this matter earlier also. He said that it is inappropriate to make incomplete comments on an organization until its ideology is clearly stated. Manoj Jha commented, “Our understanding of the ideology of the political organization you are referring to is still unclear. Until its ideological direction becomes clear, it would not be appropriate to make any specific comments on it.”
