Now operation of hydrogen buses till Noida International Airport will start from the month of January. Yamuna Development Authority has started the tender process for this. The authority will operate these buses at private level along with conductors and drivers.
Will start with six state-of-the-art hydrogen buses
According to authority officials, the proposal to run hydrogen buses has been approved in the recent board meeting. Initially six hydrogen buses will be deployed on the route. These will be modern AC buses, which will have 45 seats.
Will run 600 kilometers once filled with fuel
The most special thing about these buses is that once filled with hydrogen fuel, they will be able to run for about 600 kilometers. This will provide passengers with the facility of continuous and uninterrupted travel.
Along with this, all modern safety and security features will be provided in these buses.
Fare will be less as per convenience
According to the facilities available in the bus, its fare will be less compared to other running CNG and electric buses and both the facilities and comfort will be much more than the old running buses.
