Oppo K15 Pro+ was launched in China on Wednesday along with Oppo K15 Pro and Oppo Watch X3. These two new gaming-focused phones—which are the first models in the new K15 series—are equipped with the company’s next-generation active cooling fans for thermal management. The Oppo K15 Pro series also features a dual rear camera unit, which houses a 50-megapixel main shooter. Both these phones will be available for purchase in the country through the Oppo China online store. Oppo K15 Pro+ is available in three color options, while Oppo K15 Pro has been introduced in four color options. Oppo K15 Pro+ also has MediaTek Dimensity 9000 series chipset.
Oppo K15 Pro series: price and availability
Oppo K15 Pro+ price starts at CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs 47,000) and CNY 3,699 (approximately Rs 50,000). These prices apply to the ‘Basic’ and ‘Standard’ variants (translated from Chinese), which have 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Meanwhile, the top-end configuration—with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage—is priced at CNY 4,199 (approximately Rs 57,000).
The new phones will go on sale in China on April 3 at 10:00 AM (local time)—which is 7:30 AM Indian Time (IST)—via the Oppo online store. The Oppo K15 Pro+ is available in three colors: Cyber Wings, Origin Grey, and Photodust (these are translations of the Chinese names). The Oppo K15 Pro+ and Oppo K15 Pro are both dual-SIM handsets that run Oppo’s Android 16-based ColorOS 16.
Oppo K15 Pro+ features a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,272×2,772 pixels) display. The display offers a refresh rate of up to 165Hz, a pixel density of 450 ppi, support for 1.07 billion colors, a touch sampling rate of 330Hz, and a peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits. At the same time, Oppo K15 Pro has a 6.59-inch Full-HD + (1,256×2,760 pixels) display, which has a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, pixel density of 460 ppi, peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz.
To power the new Oppo K15 Pro+, it has an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, which gives a peak clock speed of 3.73GHz. On the other hand, Oppo K15 Pro has an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Super chipset, whose clock speed is 3.4GHz. Both the handsets come with 12GB LPDDR5x RAM. Oppo K15 Pro+ has up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 onboard storage, while Oppo K15 Pro has up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
Talking about cameras, dual rear camera setup has been given in Oppo K15 Pro series. Its main camera is with a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) sensor, which has features like two-axis Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), 10x digital zoom and autofocus. Along with this main camera, another 8-megapixel camera is also provided. It is an (f/2.2) ultrawide camera, which gives a 116-degree field of view. On the front, both the phones are equipped with 16-megapixel (f/2.4) cameras for selfies and video calls. Additionally, these handsets can record videos in quality up to 4K/60 fps.
The Oppo K15 Pro+ packs an 8,000mAh battery that supports 100W SuperVOOC wired fast charging. At the same time, Oppo K15 Pro has a 7,500mAh battery which supports 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging. The Oppo K15 Pro+ measures 162.4 x 77.47 x 8.33 mm, and weighs around 219g. The Oppo K15 Pro, on the other hand, measures 158.3 x 75.13 x 8.37 mm and weighs around 203g.
