Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz has taken a major decision on the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan. He has ordered the release of more than 3 billion riyals for the beneficiaries of Social Security. This decision has been taken on the proposal of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to make it easier for needy families to meet their needs during Ramadan. This amount will be sent directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.

Who will get how much money?

Under this royal decree, the amount given is divided between the head of the family and his dependent members. Its aim is to ensure that every person can get its benefits. From the information given below you can understand who will get how much amount:

Head of the family (Breadwinner): 1000 riyals
Dependent Member: 500 riyals
Total amount allotted: more than 3 billion riyals

This money starts reaching people’s accounts as soon as Ramzan starts. This help for the year 2026 (1447 Hijri) has been released with the start of Ramzan from 18th February.

Who are the people eligible for this help?

This assistance amount is for those citizens who are already registered in the Social Security system of the Saudi government. There is no need for anyone to apply separately for this, because the ministry itself transfers the money using its database.

The main beneficiaries of this scheme are the following groups:

Widows and orphans Elderly and disabled citizens Low income families and unemployed people

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has made it clear that this help is given to provide relief to the people from the expenses and inflation during Ramzan.

Donation of crores for housing also

Not just cash assistance, but King Salman and the Crown Prince have also donated 150 million riyals for the ‘Jood Eskaan’ platform. This campaign helps families who are in dire need of a home. This step of the government shows that they are continuously working to improve the standard of living of their citizens. Minister Eng. Ahmad bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi has expressed gratitude to the leadership for this help.
