Free Balochistan Movement (FBM) President Mir Yar Baloch has given a big statement regarding the independence of Balochistan. He has claimed that if they get fighter jets and modern weapons, they will liberate Balochistan from Pakistan within just a week. He says that right now his people are fighting with stones and sticks, but if they get the right help, they will force the Pakistani Army to surrender.

Called Pakistan Army the enemy of Islam
Mir Yar Baloch has made very serious allegations against the Pakistani Army. He said that Pakistani Army has attacked about 40 mosques in Balochistan and used artillery there. He says that Pakistan is trying to defame India to hide its shortcomings and human rights record. Also alleged that the money that comes from the minerals and resources of Balochistan is being used for wrongdoings and extremist forces.
What is the security situation in Balochistan?
Currently, the situation in Balochistan is quite tense and strict security arrangements have been made. There is high security in areas like Quetta and Gwadar. The situation and figures here in the last few days are as follows:
Pakistani Army has completed ‘Operation Radh al-Fitna 1’, in which it is claimed to have killed 216 militants. Recently, 22 security personnel and more than 30 civilians have been killed in attacks by Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA). Due to poor conditions, foreign investment (FDI) in Balochistan has declined from $1.4 billion to $808 million.

Mir Yar Baloch has demanded immediate intervention of the United Nations (UN). He says that what is happening to the people here can be called ‘ethnic cleansing’ and it should be stopped. On the other hand, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has talked about development amid these attacks. To win the trust of the people, he has announced schemes like building a Thalassemia Center and laying fiber optic network.
